CN, CPKC Union Employees Ordered to Return to Work

In an update to the recent Canadian rail stoppage, Canadian National (CN) has been ordered to binding arbitration by the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) after a strike notice was issued by the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC). This follows the Canadian Minister of Labour's intervention to ensure industrial peace. CN officials have stated that the CIRB ordered the end to labor stoppages, including any strike or locking during the arbitration process. The TCRC has vowed to appeal the decision.
